Metabolic Testing is the ONE THING you should do for your fitness that will change everything
Finally Understand What Your Body Needs
Did you know 90% of people spend 90% of their time working out too hard?
The problem you face is that the fitness industry is telling you the harder you work out, the better results you’re going to get, and it’s just not true.
They preach a one-size-fits-all solution, but when it comes to fitness, one size doesn’t fit all. Your body is unique, and your metabolism is like a fingerprint.
The only way to get the results you’re looking for is to understand your body. When you work out hard every day, it’s just a matter of time until you get burnt out or injured.
Your body’s not designed for that amount of stress day in and day out. And if you have to ask yourself if you’re working out too hard, you’re working out too hard.

It's time get a metabolic test
Did you know metabolic testing can help with:
- Improving your health so you can have more life to your years (and add years to your life)
- Creating a lifestyle of fitness so you can look forward to exercise instead of dreading it
- Getting more fit so you can finally make progress instead of feeling stuck & burnt out
- Avoiding injury so you stay strong and spend less time missing out on what you love
- Feeling good after a workout so you can have energy for the rest of your day
- Running faster so you can finally hit those goals you've been chasing
- Managing a healthy weight so you can have the confidence that you're finally doing the right things for your health
One metabolic test isn't enough
Because your body changes as you train based on YOUR metabolism, you'll need updated testing to make sure you have the most accurate numbers so you KEEP making progress and seeing those great results.
You might need more support
Early on, we made the mistake of thinking that just showing people exactly what their body needed was enough. But what we found was, people struggled to make the leap on their own.
They had this life-changing information, but they needed support making it part of their lifestyle. Like any change it takes time and consistency, and it's easy to fall back into old habits.
That's why we created Becoming Body Smart. To make sure that you are successful applying this information to your life.

Metabolic testing is more complete than VO2Max
So many other ways of testing give you a snapshot of where you're at, but they don't tell you how to use that information to make a difference in your fitness moving forward.

Not All Tests Are Created Equal
You can go to your local college and get a watered-down version of this testing done for a lot cheaper.
But the numbers will be meaningless to you if you don't know how to interpret them. And they aren't customized to what you need.
At Body Smart, we customize the testing based on your body, your lifestyle, and your fitness goals.
